Challenges

Chameleon International faced limitations with its existing CRM system, which was managed by a previous provider and lacked the advanced automation and customization needed to support the firm’s growing global operations.
Managing account hierarchies, tracking candidate pipelines, and consolidating client interactions across multiple regions was cumbersome, leading to inefficiencies and increased manual work.
The company was also looking for a solution that could scale with its international presence and diverse service offerings, including executive search, leadership assessment, and market intelligence.
Ensuring consistency in client engagement and accurate reporting across offices in London, Denver, and Melbourne was critical, but the previous system did not fully meet these needs.

Solution

To address Chameleon International’s business requirements, we implemented Seven20, a highly customizable solution that allows using Salesforce for recruiting in complex, global environments.
The implementation included:
  • Setting up account hierarchies to better structure client and candidate data
  • Creating custom objects to track specialized talent and engagement workflows
  • Performing data migration, and
  • Mapping from the company’s previous instance to ensure continuity and accuracy
In addition, we built automated processes, surveys, dashboards, and reports to help optimize daily operations, enhance visibility across teams, and provide actionable insights for leadership.

We did look at several implementation options, but choosing a partner is always challenging because you’re often making a decision without having complete information.

Seven20 spoke highly of the Twistellar team, and while they recommended multiple partners, what really stood out for us was the overall fit.

After speaking with Twistellar and comparing them with others, it came down to a combination of value for money and the competence of the individuals involved. Having worked in IT before, that mattered more to me than having a local, face-to-face presence.

We didn’t need a local project manager — we needed the right expertise, and that’s what made the decision clear.
Objectives: improve recruitment efficiency and reduce administrative effort, gain full visibility into accounts and candidate pipelines, ensure consistency and accuracy of recruitment data across systems.
Deliverables: Seven20 implementation, Account Hierarchy configuration, Custom Objects creation, data migration and mapping from a legacy Salesforce instance, survey setup, dashboards and reports design and configuration, workflow automations supporting recruitment processes.

I would rate the overall experience a five out of five. Communication was excellent and consistent throughout the project, the quality of the work delivered was strong, and responsiveness was always very quick.

What impressed me most was that the pace and quality didn’t drop off when we reached the more detailed, complex stages of the project, which often happens.

From the start, right through to completion, everything remained efficient and well managed.

Results

Following the implementation of Seven20, Chameleon International established a more structured and automated CRM foundation aligned with its operational needs.
While measurable KPIs are still being consolidated due to the parallel rollout of several CRM-related initiatives (such as AI-assisted note capture and additional pipeline tools), early outcomes indicate meaningful efficiency gains. Automation of data capture and workflow processes has reduced manual administrative effort and improved data consistency, addressing prior challenges around fragmented information and time-consuming record management.
These improvements are expected to translate into tangible business impact as adoption matures:
  • Time savings across core processes, enabling teams to focus on higher-value client and candidate interactions
  • Improved data visibility, supported by tailored dashboards and reporting
  • More scalable operational structure, allowing the organization to grow without proportional increases in administrative overhead
Although quantified results from using Salesforce for recruitment agencies are not yet available, Chameleon International reports clear process efficiencies emerging and anticipates measurable productivity and performance improvements as usage stabilizes and tracking frameworks are finalized.

Client Testimonial

My experience working with Twistellar was primarily shaped through Valentina as our main point of contact and Salesforce Consultant. As we collaborated across multiple areas, what mattered most was having someone who truly understood our recruitment needs — and she consistently demonstrated that understanding.

Every update call and email gave a clear grasp of what we were trying to achieve, and her response times were always very quick. While there were a few minor data migration glitches — which is to be expected with any CRM or ERP implementation — everything we put in place is working well. Valentina was always available to jump on a call, and I genuinely can’t speak highly enough of her support throughout the process.

Because of that, it’s hard to separate where her competency ends and where the broader Twistellar team begins — the experience felt very all-encompassing.

If I had to describe the collaboration in three words, the first would be efficient. The way we progressed through the work was very efficient — particularly the turnaround speed — which was great to see.

The second would be reliable, which is extremely important to me. When something was requested, it didn’t get lost. I can’t recall situations where follow-up was needed and didn’t happen. In fact, I recently received proactive communication checking on outstanding items, which reinforces that sense of reliability.

The third would be friendly and easy to work with. That may relate more to the individuals involved, but it shapes the overall experience. Strictly speaking, friendliness isn’t essential — efficiency and reliability come first — but it does make a difference. Some parts of implementation are repetitive and not particularly exciting, so working with someone approachable, patient, and willing to explain things when they aren’t immediately clear makes the process smoother and more productive.

Overall, the combination of efficiency, reliability, and a collaborative working relationship defined my experience.
