Challenges

SocialTech were looking for a Salesforce consulting company to help automate the business processes of the marketing department.
Thanks to the inspiring results of the first mutual project, SocialTech decided to switch their Pipedrive CRM to Salesforce.
The reason for that was the lack of flexibility and scalability: PipeDrive couldn't completely match the complex business flows of SocialTech, requiring a lot of manual operations and workarounds in the daily routine.

Solution

We configured an advanced tailored customer management system on Salesforce Sales Cloud — enabling a highly interactive end-to-end process of partner interactions automations.
Besides automating customer-facing processes in Salesforce, we created an API-based integration with the corporate ERP and financial system, finalizing the back-office components of the flow and significantly reducing the manual efforts of marketing specialists of Socialtech.
Leverage of Docusign for documents generation and electronic signatures was a part of the solution.

Scope and Process

We joined other candidates in the competition, and had to provide the technical solution and estimate in quite a short time.
Our proposal was selected for implementation due to its great price/value index, and ability to take all the risks on us, providing a fixed budget for SocialTech.
The scope of the next stage was much larger and was composed by the stakeholders from multiple departments and functional units of SocialTech.
The work started with the detailed business analysis activity, resulting in the technical specification with all the expectations outlined and formalized.
The requested functionality was designed to be implemented on Sales Cloud, but with heavily customized sales funnels and various automations to expedite customers conversions in place.
Even more integrations were in scope — financial and ERP systems, compliance, file storage, calendars, schedulers and Pandadoc for documents generation.
This was a great piece of work. There were a lot of clarifications and adjustments along the way, usually related to optimizing UX.
As usual, a lot of complications were related to data migration — we had to move historical information to Salesforce, which required its clarification and remapping: it's one of the toughest parts of any CRM migration project.
The SocialTech team showed themselves as perfectionists, putting the comfort of customers and employees in the first place. The result was remarkable.
