Challenges

As Push Operations expanded its inbound and partner-driven demand channels, the client faced increasing difficulty maintaining confidence in lead quality, ownership, and conversion readiness. Leads were arriving from multiple external sources with varying data structures, making it harder for sales teams to assess intent and act quickly.
The lack of a consistent, enforceable qualification model led to delays in the MQL-to-SQL handoff and uneven sales follow-up. Marketing teams had limited clarity into which channels were actually contributing to revenue, while sales teams spent time validating and correcting lead data instead of engaging prospects.
Because these issues directly affected pipeline reliability, sales productivity, and revenue forecasting, Push Operations required ongoing Salesforce expertise to continuously adapt processes, integrations, and data logic as the business and lead mix evolved.

"We rely heavily on consultants because we don’t have in-house operations resources, so finding the right partner was critical for us.

From the very beginning, the Twistellar team stood out for their efficiency, expertise, and how easy they were to work with.

The quality of their work quickly built trust across our leadership team, and that positive experience ultimately led us to choose Twistellar as our long-term partner.

They’ve consistently delivered strong results and have been a pleasure to collaborate with."

Solution

The Twistellar team helped Push Operations execute a structured improvement program across Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (MCAE) and Sales Cloud, focused on inbound lead handling, qualification control, and attribution accuracy.
As part of the project, Twistellar implemented and configured Chili Piper to support Push Operations’ requirement for immediate sales engagement on high-intent inbound leads. This ensured that qualified prospects could be routed to the right sales representatives and book meetings without manual intervention, supporting faster response times aligned with revenue goals.
To address inconsistent data coming from third-party lead sources, the team integrated Fillout as a flexible lead intake layer. From Push Operations’ perspective, this enabled better control over required fields, data validation, and lead structure before records entered Salesforce, reducing downstream errors and protecting sales efficiency.
Twistellar also redesigned Salesforce lead-to-opportunity automation and validation rules to reflect Push Operations’ actual sales readiness criteria. This included enforcing consistent qualification standards, preventing premature opportunity creation, and ensuring clean progression from marketing-qualified leads to sales-owned records.
In parallel, the team enhanced lead source and attribution logic within MCAE and Sales Cloud, giving Push Operations a more reliable view of which channels, partners, and campaigns were influencing pipeline and revenue. These changes were delivered and refined through managed services, allowing continuous adjustments as new lead sources and business requirements emerged.

“It was a really strong experience. The Twistellar team delivered what we needed and consistently went above and beyond to make things work, even when there were challenges on our side.

They were highly responsive and flexible, and it was clear Twistellar was committed to supporting us.”

Results

As a result of the collaboration between Push Operations and Twistellar, the client achieved day-to-day improvements in how sales and marketing teams manage, qualify, and act on inbound demand.
Standardized lead intake and validation significantly reduced manual effort across teams. Many processes that previously required custom setup or ongoing maintenance are now automated and reusable, allowing the Push Operations team to continue operating efficiently without constant configuration.
Improved lead source and attribution logic gave the marketing team clearer insight into which channels and partners contribute to the qualified pipeline and revenue. With more reliable reporting in place, Push Operations can now confidently optimize campaigns and investments based on measurable performance.
Overall, Twistellar delivered systems and processes that continue to drive value beyond the initial implementation. Push Operations has adopted these workflows as part of its standard operations and has seen sustained, measurable improvements in efficiency, data quality, and sales execution.

“Twistellar understood the scope of work and delivered according to industry best practices, and if something was unfamiliar, they did the research to figure it out.

Some solutions were complex (and we’re still working through a unique piece of Apex code), but in general, everything has been well-built and highly valuable.

Twistellar set up processes and systems that we continue to use and have learned from, and we’ve definitely seen measurable improvements from their work."
